So I changed my mind, School Rumble is a little too annoying for my tastes. I am watching Sands of Destruction instead ^_^.


On another note.. I love Dolly Kei fashion! If I actually had money I would dress in this fashion.

Glee Project/School Rumble

So I know it must seem like I have no life, watching tv all the time but honestly that's not the case. I caught the last 15 minutes of the Glee Project and I am somewhat disappointed in the judges of that show. In any other show if a contestant were to be in the bottom 2,3, or whatever more than once or at least 3 or 4 times they would have been eliminated by now. I don't care how much they think they can push those kids to do better, if they happen to be in the last chance that many times and are still on the show something is wrong. But that is just my small rant.


On other news I started watching school rumble and so far, it is a little annoying. :P Hopefully it will get better. I will give my review later.


And an even better piece of news.. Trigun's movie Badlands Rumble has been and will be showing across the US this summer!! I cannot wait! ^_^

Air Gear Review

Now I won't reveal how long it actually took me to watch this anime because it's Friday night and I don't want to seem like a complete loser. But anyway, this anime actually took me by surprise. I watched a couple of episodes with my friend and it was a little slow for me at first. Okay the main character is this cocky kid who starts riding on glorified roller-blades on steroids; that's new to me but I'll bite. The story and characters start to develop through the first ten or so episodes and that's where I got hooked. You have the stereotypical horny school guys and the love stricken girls (in middle school which I didn't believe at first) and the comedic relief added into their personalities. You also have the "I'm going to fight this battle, no one is stronger than me, watch me kick ass, I ride for freedom" bit which is classic and in this case different because of the whole rollerblading (ATs) thing. Each character's personality is unique and adds to the story instead of being thrown into the shadows by the main character. I really recommend trying out this anime for anyone who likes animes with cute romances, bishoujo, and some fighting. I would say more about it but the story is a little difficult to understand if you don't physically watch it or read it. All in all I enjoyed it which surprised me because I didn't think I would so you never know. I learned not to underestimate some anime.

Pilot?

So I guess this will be my Pilot blog. I've had a Livejournal before but nothing ever like this. I am taking a hiatus from my everyday world for a while because of some some issues that I have with people. I needed an escape and maybe that sounds like a cop out because everyone has issues, but we deal in our own ways right? Well anyway, I have this habit of collecting books even though I don't have the time to read them ^_^; so today I picked up Fer-de-lance by Rex Stout and The Egypt Game by Zilpha Snyder. I like mysteries similar to Sherlock Holmes so the bookstore lady showed my Fer-de-lance. When I was younger I remember reading the Egypt game and it was a wonderful book. So hopefully I will get the chance to read them when I go on my awesome beach vacation in two weeks! I may also be talking a lot about anime on this blog because I have been recently been able to get back into it this summer and there's so much I would like to watch. Currently by my friend's choice I am watching Air Gear. I intend to finish it even though it is not usually my cup of tea. I will give my review of it after I finish the series. For anyone may read this and is interested in Air Gear I will post a link to the synopsis. ^_^
