Nancy Drew! and other things
This is the epitome of "forever alone"...sitting in your living room by yourself, playing Nancy Drew games, in the dark. :| i don't even have a cat to make this seem better. But still I can't deny I love playing it no matter how dorky it may seem :)
On another note, he just doesn't even know he makes me go: alidusilasuebfvszdjblvirebgfhkvjs relhdbvsezuejkzsbiuvcbzsrkgjbzseduibvgfelszufhnzlsekjfhzselkufnhvseifhnzseifhguaesmsehngkvjehfzluksefnhlzsukfhvlsekhflnizshuglszmoie

And currently my infatuation grows stronger for you however it isn't strictly for sexual reasons and i feel that i can say that because no one really reads this anyway but I LIKE YOU.
Let's try to work this out together ^_^

Merry Christmas :)
Some interesting things have happened within the past two weeks: good, bad, and just plain confusing. But I don't deny that any of the things I did were not my choice not that saying any of this matters except to convince myself of what is true. Even though all I can do is think of you and I know you probably have no interest I hope you can just give me a chance.
Merry Christmas to everyone out there I hope it is filled with love and laughter despite the darkness of the world.
I remain happy knowing I have been enjoying life to the fullest, I have a roof over my head, food to eat, a loving family and many amazing friends. I am truly blessed and I hope others out there can find the good in this holiday.
^_^

Are we just scared?
I have been filling up my time in between people/friends/acquaintances and so on that i feel like nothing is to myself. Also watching bits and pieces of Maid Sama to cheer me up. I may want it this way but I think time alone is best right now even if it isn't what I want. Of course that will continue to be the thing I do not receive. On the bright side I made three A's and one B this semester. Safe to say I am pretty happy :)
I just want you to know that I am thinking about you. I cannot get you out of my head and all I want is to know who you are.
Maybe this song will appropriate tonight.
I hope this Christmas break can help me resolve these qualms.
Let's hope for a better day so we can live through the nights <3

Front, back, side to side
I am extremely bored and have no idea what to do with my time now that school is out. Okay that is a complete lie. I can work, volunteer in lab, look for a job next semester, look for trip information, catch up on my shows, clean, christmas shopping, and the list can go on and on. But that is not what I want to do. I want to see him and hang out with him. But that is not going to happen so I am left with my list. Oh and my best friend is awesome she bought me half of the first season of Maid Sama (they didn't have the second half) and I just can't get enough of it. ^_^ Even though it seems like I have all of this free time I really don't. Between working and volunteering in lab I don't seem to have much of a break leaving me to my 3-4am bedtimes once again. The million dollar question? Will Kaitlyn ever be able to go to bed by midnight again? Stay tuned... And I think I will have an anime night very soon. Hopefully!
Not even sure if this is something to get over. It isn't much of anything more than an infatuation. I have another song for that though. Another time.

Lovely day for a lovely way
IT's my birthday! 22 years old is really not exciting and it keeps getting uneventful from there lol. So what's going on in my world? Well Funimation's Yu yu Hakusho is releasing a DVD series with OVAs and a movie for pretty cheap I may add. I think about $25? Not sure but check funimation.com for the details. Oh and the one person most likely thinking of me is probably the one I should be with but the one I don't want to be with. And the one I want to think of me I think he is done talking to me? Done with me? Personally I think it's rude to stop talking to someone. I have said this many times and I will say it again for redundancy's sake: if you do not want to talk to someone and they keep talking to you, don't ignore them. Let Them Know. I mean maybe some people will get the hint when you give them the code of silence to leave them alone but sometimes they don't get it. And you know what? We are big boys and girls. If a person does not want to talk to you and they openly say that? Try to either remedy what problem there is or just respect it and leave it alone. It is unfortunately and you may not like it but at least you will know so you don't keep making a fool out of yourself. And if you don't want someone to talk to you then like I said don't ignore them and keep letting themselves look like an ass. I mean some people are just going to keep trying to contact you and maybe they need other methods other than the polite asking to stop talking to me blah blah. But others could just be genuinely nice people that want to be your friend and if you have no interest at all, let them know. I have been getting better than this and maybe it is harsh but is better than ignoring someone because no one likes that feeling especially if they don't deserve it. That is rant of the day lol on my birthday. Think I'm gonna watch a movie now :3 Maybe some anime. Maybe go to a graduation party. Then my party tonight! :D
I will just take him as a boyfriend kthnks :D

My Poeeeeeemaaa
After a long time of working on it.. this is its' public debut I guess one could say....
My Rhyming is a Crime
I really need to remedy my sleeping habits..
Let us build this world of our imagination together.... :)
Love you to the moon and back <3
My Rhyming is a Crime
Is that your face peeking though my head?
Are you the one who comes to my windows unsaid?
Just because they whisper doesn’t mean you can play this scheme.
Are you aware that you are haunting my vision, my thoughts, my dreams?
This stress and strain that has burdened my brain it’s driving me insane!
But I’m not much for rhyming, what a shame.
Let me break it down to simplify this game.
Trapped and twisted, turned and restrained
This is the resisted my eyes cannot name
Touched, pulled, pushed, tamed?
Nothing can break this hold that you claim.
Words that taunt and tease this flame
Even though your closed mouth remains
I cannot put you to blame for this name that stays, not entirely
Because still I beckon and plead for more of the same
Conditioned to your hand, beaten by words that stain
Temporary as life for I know your love I will never gain.
Now I'm not going to become one of those silly emo girls or I think the new fad is being a hipster and secretly being a tortured soul.. oooh... nope. It just described one of the ways I felt (strongly I may add) over the summer. And it was a pretty serious feeling because I haven't written poetry since like middle school when I was really trying to sing the blues (riiiiiiiight). But hopefully it isn't too terrible.
I really need to remedy my sleeping habits..
Let us build this world of our imagination together.... :)
Love you to the moon and back <3

Princess Mononoke and Night Raid 1931
Wow it has been so long since I have posted and that really blows "/
Well I have watched a little anime since then. I have seen a couple of episodes of Night Raid 1931 which is pretty good and an interesting plot line about this secret military group from the Japanese Imperial Army that was sent to China after the whole WW1 affair. Only problem is that I have been so preoccupied lately that I haven't been able to correctly pay attention to this anime mainly because the plot is a little bit more than just a high school drama. But I would recommend it anyway :)
The second is Princess Mononoke. Now I did pay attention to this movie and an excellent one I must say. It is something that every anime lover should watch out there because 1. it is a pretty old but good movie and 2. it is by miyazaki, 'nough said. However I did get quite annoyed with that kid just letting the forest be destroyed. But it is basically about a young man's journey to reverse this curse that was placed on him by a demon. He runs into this place called Iron Town and they use the iron from the ground in the forests and the spirits of the forests don't like it obviously. He also befriends the human girl who runs with the wolf spirit clan to help him find the spirit that would remove the curse. In between there is this fighting going on between the forest spirits and the townspeople and some of the government. The guy gets involved and doesn't really choose a side he says they all need to get along. I won't ruin the end so I recommend watching it. You can tell it is an older movie by the animation but it is still good, I can't believe how long it has taken me to actually watch it lol.

Foxes and Soxes?
So needless to say this week+weekend has been very fun and interesting. I no longer wish to drink profusely without eating anything beforehand. I do not understand men at all sometimes and I will continue being the horrible person that I am at least for now until I grow some lady balls and do what needs to be done. On a side note I really want to get back to writing my story of Lola the fox spirit :) that is another thing I absolutely adore foxes especially in anime ever since Kurama. So much to my excitement I bought a brand new pair of fox socks and a fox tank top! I guess they are the new "owl" trend. I like owls but I'm not obsessed, nor am I a trend hunter! I just really like foxes and this is the first time that I have seen any kind of merchandise of foxes that I can get. And just remember guys out there... don't act like you are interested then act like you are just friends and uninterested then say something that clearly makes you sound interested in a girl. It's freaking confusing!! Not to be preaching on a soapbox, ladies, we also have major issues. :\ I'm going to continue watching Primeval and pretending that Andrew is my boyfriend. lol.

New Preoccupation
So I have been very preoccupied lately with a new show (non-anime) called Primeval. Well it isn't exactly new as it is new to me. I got the idea to watch it after I have been completely, well not entirely completely, but obsessed with Andrew Lee Potts. After I first saw him in Syfy's version of Alice I wanted to see him in more parts and my friend actually had seasons 1-4 of Primeval so she is letting me borrow them to watch. Basically it is about this team of scientists/reptile experts that work to protect the world or at least London from these anomalies that have been popping up around the city. The anomalies are rips in time and space between millions of years ago and even into the future. So as you can imagine dinosaurs and other sorts of creatures are escaping through these anomalies and the team tries to save the harmless ones and kill the bad ones. Also the main scientist Cutter, his wife went missing 8 years previously and he figured out that she had discovered these rips and she had been completely obsessed with them. Her character gives off this almost evil nature where she doesn't care too much for what happens to man kind as long as she gets to discover the future and see it for herself. The graphics are a bit cheesy and so is the overall look but the story line is pretty good and cute so I really like it so far. It is a BBC network show and I recommend giving it a try at least a few episodes. :]
This is Andrew Lee Potts as Hatter in Syfy's Alice. He's adorable ^_^
And this is him as Connor Temple in Primeval.
So that is my spill for the night!
Goodnight! ~Live by the sun and love by the moon.

Angel Beats
Yay I actually found some time to watch anime woo!!! Okay so I watched Angel Beats! courtesy of netflix. It is a bit confusing at the beginning but you will eventually catch on. There's a boy (Ontonashi) who finds himself stranded in a place he doesn't know and he meets this girl (Yuri). The girl tells him that he is dead but not quite to the afterlife yet. She asks him to join her brigade to fight against this girl named Angel who is supposedly this person that obliterates people in this realm and moves them on to the next life. Ontonashi doesn't really believe her and goes down to where Angel is and talks to her and she stabs him and he wakes up in a hospital bed completely healed. Anyway after much reluctance he joins the brigade and they have their adventures surviving in this limbo world. Throughout the story he gets to know Angel and sees her point of view on the whole thing. After he joins up with her to help people move to the next life. The ending is a bit sad and different compared to others I have seen before but I think I like it. Overall I definitely recommend watching it, this is a 13 episode series so short but sweet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_Beats! here is more information.

OMG FLUFFY
So I have been away. Taken by school's force to make me into a better person and such and such. I was thinking earlier today how bad of a situation I have put myself in and then I somehow seek guidance and sympathy from my friends? That hardly seems fair. So for any of you who may read this ever, at all, in the next couple of years of you life. Don't be selfish. Don't screw up your life, knowing that you screwed it up (even if you don't realize it at the time, if it seems like a bad idea, don't do it) and then try to play the innocent part of I don't know what to do or how to handle this blah blah blah. Because you got yourself into the mess you made and now you can figure out how to take care of it. We can't just let other people fight our battles for us. It's time to take charge of our lives. By the way it isn't that bad of a situation but it sucks.... -_- the bad part is that I didn't even realize it until someone was like ooh hows this going? and this? and this? and this? and just to add the icing on the cake you add something to their list of "this". I'm taking the GRE monday... Life moves too quickly. I'd rather be european. That is all for tonight. No anime because I have cut myself off so I can study. It makes me bitter inside but I know it is for the best :'(

The title of this is
Burning Bridges.
This is about burning bridges. I have recently been going through a lot in my life, probably not as much as others but we all measure things differently right? So anyways what I think about burning your bridges. People love to have choices in life, we all have them and the more we have the better? Sometimes that isn't always the case and sometimes it is. We can't always have the choices that we want in life though. We cant choose the way our genetics predispose us to act certain ways but we can try to change them. We can change a lot of things. But what about the things you can't change? The decisions we make that are permanent. We are all deep down inside afraid of change to a certain extent. But burning bridges keeps us from limiting our options, limiting that change we all fear. What happens when we have too many choices though? We may hurt more in the long run versus the one or two that may be hurt in the short run. We should try to prevent burning certain bridges like with family, future options, maybe friends and relationships. But who is to say that these things are necessarily helpful to your future. Once we burn a bridge there is nothing we can do. Nothing to look back on, just the future. Even if it was the wrong thing to do we cannot live regretfully. Nothing can be accomplished if you look back on what could have been. We must look to the future and learn from our mistakes, maybe change our standards, and soon we will begin to realize that closing one door opens up many more. It is okay to recognize mistakes we make, and okay to be afraid of that change. But it is NOT okay to live in the past because it will never be the same.
And that is my opinion for the night.
Also the bookstore has been claiming my soul for the last 2 weeks so I haven't been able to post and that makes me sad :(
Two more things:
Thinking about getting a tattoo like this--
And this song to finish the night

I promised and I will deliver
Well here it is! To make up for my lack of blogging for the past week I have watched two series and will give reviews of each because I clearly have no life. Actually I'm supposed to be studying for the GRE but who wants to do that crap? Lol just kidding I will eventually. But first up:
Sacred Blacksmith. Really awesome short series who has a day to do nothing. There are only 12 episodes but it is a cute series about a girl, Cecily Campbell, who is a 3rd generation knight and wants to protect everyone. She inherited the knighthood when her father passed away. She is very strong willed but is kind of helpless in actual battle. Then she meets Luke Ainsworth who is a blacksmith and an awesome swordsman. He is known for his special skills of forging katanas, which are not really popular in the area, with the help of his partner Lisa. He teaches Cecily not willingly how to be stronger in battle and challenges her to become a better knight if she wants to protect the ones she cares for. Another character that comes into play is Aria who is a demon sword that can take a human form. She becomes best friends with Cecily who was ordered to protect her and eventually uses Aria to protect the people. I won't spoil the plot but there are some things in the plot line that will be learned later by the viewer and Cecily herself about the characters she calls her friends. It is cute and the only complaint that I have is that it is too short and that is also due to a lack of a second season. The characters are likable and there is a slightly blooming romance between Cecily and Luke but it isn't explored that much in the first season. I definitely recommend this anime. And it is on Netflix to stream!
And the next is..... Maid Sama! I think I found one of my favorite animes. I love action anime, suspenseful anime, romantic anime usually in a combination. But this is all high school romance so I wasn't sure at first but the characters had me falling in love by the second episode. Misaki is student council president at Seika High which has recently became a co-ed school. She is the first girl student president and a self proclaimed man hater. She wants more girls to come to Seika and in order to do that she needs to clean up the school and the guy's manners along with that. But she carries a secret as well. She has a part time job to support her isngle mother and sister at Maid Latte a maid cafe. She fears that if anyone from the high school were to learn of this then the reputation she worked hard to build would be ruined. She is admired by the girls and teachers and feared/hated by the boys because of her constant changes to the school's image. Takumi Usui one night happened to see Misaki outside of her cafe in her maid outfit and found her to be interesting. Usui is good looking, smart, good at just about everything and turns down girl's proclamations of love just about everyday. He started coming to the cafe where Misaki works and she thinks it is because he is a "perverted alien" and just teasing her. He also says he will not tell anyone her secret because it is his personal pleasure. Though throughout the series we see that Usui is clearly fell for Misaki almost instantly but Misaki is so clueless to her own feelings she calls him a perverted alien, sees him as a burden, and an idiot. But he is always showing up where she needs him the most and eventually starts to realize her feelings for him at the end of the series. It is a beautiful and cute romantic anime. Any girl's fantasy or picture of romance. At least in my book. >:] Usui is definitely in my top 5 male anime characters if not number one. WATCH THIS ANIME ^_^
This man.. lol
That is all it is now time for me to go to bed so I can actually do something productive with my life tomorrow.
Goodnight world!! I love you to the moon and back <3

More of You
This song has been on my mind for a while and I absolutely love it. It only really describes one of my moods for the past month or so. I could add more but I won't display all my problems to the world. We all have our crosses to bear right? Today was really long. After the moving for two days and the beginning of my temporary job I had an 11 hour shift today so needless to say I am exhausted and sore. And on top of all that I missed Trigun Badlands Rumble :( So I am really bummed out about that. I will find a way to get it or watch it though because I had been looking forward to that for the past month.
The highlight of the day? Ice cream, Kaze No Stigma, and looking forward to two days of blissful beach without distractions or work.
I promise I will get back to watching series and giving my reviews on them later but unfortunately I am getting ready for graduate school and that requires the GRE. So for the next couple of weeks I will be studying like crazy, and working at my job and lab.
One more thing: I know there is a large fan base for The Glee Project but I just recently started watching the show and I like it. Now like many many people (mainly girls) out there I am rooting for Damian. BUT I hate to say it but based off what Ryan said that the winner isn't who we would all expect or even who he would expect I think Samuel is going to win. I just don't really see a strong character coming from him though and I don't think I would like his character on Glee. I would have liked to see Hannah win but she was already sent home. And I also liked Marissa but I didn't see much of a character in her either. Anywho que sera sera!
Goodnight!

Moving
Sucks. It has been a very very long two days of moving up two flights of stairs. Avoid it at all costs. I am going to enjoy the rest of my night and watch Pretty Little Liars ^_^
Goodnight world, I love you to the moon and back.

I forgot
How much I love Gundam SEED. So instead of venturing out for a new anime I decided to finish watching this one because it has been years since I have seen it. I will go ahead and give my synopsis on it for those who have not seen it before. You are never too old or too young to watch Gundam SEED. The story follows two young boy's paths through a war between the Naturals (normal human beings) and the Coordinators (people who have their genes altered before birth to give them special learning capabilities). The war starts as a result of hatred and jealousy of the Naturals towards the Coordinators. It then escalated when the Naturals use a nuclear weapon on one of the agricultural plants home to many Coordinators. We start with the story of Kira Yamato who is a young, intelligent Coordinator that lives in neutral territory. That territory is invaded by Coordinator military forces (ZAFT) to retrieve mobile suits that the earth forces developed. One of the main team members from the team that invades the neutral country happens to be Kira's best friend Athrun Zala. This anime follows the hardships and emotional bearings of war especially on the younger populations who volunteer to fight. Kira fights to protect his friends aboard the earth forces ship the Archangel even though he despises any kind of fighting. Friendships and romance stirs within the bowels of this anime which give it a nice relief from all of the action. I will not give away the ending partly because you should watch it for yourself and partly because I have forgotten what happened. Though I remember now even if this is a highly emotional and fighting anime I truly enjoyed it and can call it one of my favorites.
Oh and I am officially done with summer classes (finally) although I am sad that I will not be able to see some friends I met in my classes as often anymore. Now it is time to pack and study for the GRE. Senior year here I come! ^_^

It's just another day but we choose to make it special
I started running in intervals earlier this summer and I have got to say, I hate running. But I do it anyway because it is healthy and I feel better when I accomplish something like increasing my mile minute or my distance. I had been working on my mile for a while now and because I am not up to a level where I can straight up run then entire way I choose to do intervals of walking and running. I have increased my speed of running over time and the amount of time I run. My best time so far is 12:27 for one mile, which hopefully I will get better. But I had been focusing so much on doing one mile then stopping that I decided to push myself to go two miles today. Of course I sacrificed my speed and the time I run in intervals to one minute each so I wouldn't tire myself out too much. And after hitting that one mile I kept telling myself well after the next minute I will just stop here, well when I reach 20 minutes I will just stop. But all in all I kept going and when I reached the last quarter of a mile I bumped up my speed and kept going until I hit two miles. I am pretty pleased with myself and hope I can get better over time. I still hate running.
On another note, my awesome roommate Brittany sent all of us letters of acceptance to Hogwarts and we received them today. ^_^ She is the best roommate ever.
Now I must go get boxes for packing up!

Life and Love
Life is tough :\ I mean everyone knows this but sometimes it hurts the most when we need to do something that results in us hurting other people for the sake of ourselves. I am not the type of person who would hurt anyone, in fact I hate hurting others. It will be really hard to get over this mountain of mine if I even choose to climb it. But there is always a possibility of more happiness on the other side and on the contrary it could be worse than any other road I have ventured. But life is tough and is full of choices. It is just so hard to make the right decision. I have been feeling a little down these past few weeks because of this so I think I should post something cute to go along with this. I love pretty things ^_^
Picky Picky Person
That's exactly how I feel as far as animes go right now. Sands of destruction has been pretty entertaining so far, it has a different kind of plot than your general anime. Based off of a video game, the world seems to have two different kinds of individuals: beastmen and humans; and neither of them get along. Main characters include a girl named Morte who is labeled to be on this World Destruction Committee (WDC) because she wants to destroy the world and carries a sphere that could actually do it. Kyrie is a boy who is just trying to get by living peacefully but has now been labeled a fugitive with the WDC because of Morte. Even though given the choice later to leave freely and do as they please, Kyrie and a teddy bear named Toppy continue in this quest with Morte to destroy the world.
However interesting this may seem, this certainly has not peaked my interest enough to keep watching it. In fact I have resigned to watching Gundam SEED rather than continuing this series. I will pick a different series soon and stick with it (hopefully).
But for those who may be interested in Sands of Destruction here is a synopsis:

Festivals
Everyone loves festival! The excitement from the music, dancing, food, drink, fireworks, parades and other things leaves everyone feeling closer to the culture they reside in. I would like to experience many different types of festivals around the world sometime in this life. Here's a few I would like to see:
Mardi Gras in New Orleans -I live in the US, I have to see it at least once
Yamayaki in Japan -on the 4th Saturday of January it is a New Years tradition to burn up the entire hill
Festival Au Desert in Mali -dancing, riding camels, games, and poetry and anyone is welcome
Kite Festival in Washington state -it's pretty self explanatory lol
Chinese New Years in China
Chiang Mai Flower Festival in Thailand -everywhere in this town is filled with beautiful flowers
Rio Carnival in Brazil -a festival held right before lent, one of the largest.
Chinese Spring Lantern Festival held in China -this ends the New Years celebration
Cherry Blosson Festival in Japan -festivals are held through the cherry blossom season with food, drink, lanterns
Fallas de Valencia in Spain -fireworks, pageants, and giant paper mache statues being burned for 5 days straight
Holi Festival of Colour in Nepal and India -everyone throws color at each other. It is a spiritual holiday
Water Splashing Festival in China -boat racing, singing, dancing, and of course water splashing to mutually bless each other
Cinco de Mayo in Mexico -self explanatory but celebrated for the battle won over the French
O-Bon Festival in Japan -lanterns and lights set up everywhere to celebrate the dead
La Tomatina in Spain -throwing tomatoes at everyone
Aloha Festival in Hawaii -cultural showcase
And that's just the ones I know about. There is so much culture I have not experienced yet and I am excited to live my live finding out what the world is about. Celebration is everywhere and I intend to find it. :]
Happy August 1st
