Foxes and Soxes?

So needless to say this week+weekend has been very fun and interesting. I no longer wish to drink profusely without eating anything beforehand. I do not understand men at all sometimes and I will continue being the horrible person that I am at least for now until I grow some lady balls and do what needs to be done. On a side note I really want to get back to writing my story of Lola the fox spirit :) that is another thing I absolutely adore foxes especially in anime ever since Kurama. So much to my excitement I bought a brand new pair of fox socks and a fox tank top! I guess they are the new "owl" trend. I like owls but I'm not obsessed, nor am I a trend hunter! I just really like foxes and this is the first time that I have seen any kind of merchandise of foxes that I can get. And just remember guys out there... don't act like you are interested then act like you are just friends and uninterested then say something that clearly makes you sound interested in a girl. It's freaking confusing!! Not to be preaching on a soapbox, ladies, we also have major issues. :\ I'm going to continue watching Primeval and pretending that Andrew is my boyfriend. lol.

New Preoccupation

So I have been very preoccupied lately with a new show (non-anime) called Primeval. Well it isn't exactly new as it is new to me. I got the idea to watch it after I have been completely, well not entirely completely, but obsessed with Andrew Lee Potts. After I first saw him in Syfy's version of Alice I wanted to see him in more parts and my friend actually had seasons 1-4 of Primeval so she is letting me borrow them to watch. Basically it is about this team of scientists/reptile experts that work to protect the world or at least London from these anomalies that have been popping up around the city. The anomalies are rips in time and space between millions of years ago and even into the future. So as you can imagine dinosaurs and other sorts of creatures are escaping through these anomalies and the team tries to save the harmless ones and kill the bad ones. Also the main scientist Cutter, his wife went missing 8 years previously and he figured out that she had discovered these rips and she had been completely obsessed with them. Her character gives off this almost evil nature where she doesn't care too much for what happens to man kind as long as she gets to discover the future and see it for herself. The graphics are a bit cheesy and so is the overall look but the story line is pretty good and cute so I really like it so far. It is a BBC network show and I recommend giving it a try at least a few episodes. :]

Just watched the first halloween movie of the month. Officially cannot sleep... so I am watching Ouran HSHC to lighten the mood and maybe i will be able to sleep tonight.... :) Happy Halloween!

Angel Beats

Yay I actually found some time to watch anime woo!!! Okay so I watched Angel Beats! courtesy of netflix. It is a bit confusing at the beginning but you will eventually catch on. There's a boy (Ontonashi) who finds himself stranded in a place he doesn't know and he meets this girl (Yuri). The girl tells him that he is dead but not quite to the afterlife yet. She asks him to join her brigade to fight against this girl named Angel who is supposedly this person that obliterates people in this realm and moves them on to the next life. Ontonashi doesn't really believe her and goes down to where Angel is and talks to her and she stabs him and he wakes up in a hospital bed completely healed. Anyway after much reluctance he joins the brigade and they have their adventures surviving in this limbo world. Throughout the story he gets to know Angel and sees her point of view on the whole thing. After he joins up with her to help people move to the next life. The ending is a bit sad and different compared to others I have seen before but I think I like it. Overall I definitely recommend watching it, this is a 13 episode series so short but sweet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_Beats! here is more information.
