Various Anime Trials

Instead of posting different times about each anime I tried and did not continue, I will just do it all in one.

The first of these is Heroic Age; which the story takes place in space with these different.. I don't know if you would call them tribes but people/aliens. There is a long story to the intro of how they came about but I won't divulge too much into it. The premise of this story is that it resembles Greek mythology especially Hercules in the main character. These tribes, the Golden tribe, Silver tribe, Bronze tribe, Iron tribe, and Heroic tribe were all given purposes. The Golden tribe gave humanity the name of the Iron tribe. The Silver and Bronze tribes are trying to wipe out the Iron tribe. There is a ship that is in search for the savior they were promised by the Golden tribe and find him. The boy's name is Age, he has no social skills because he was raised by a computer. He was taken aboard the ship and they are determined to protect him. However he also has this power that when needed transforms into this giant monster (Nodos) called Bellcross. I only saw a few episodes and it isn't that bad but the story line for some reason didn't catch my attention that much. The characters also, as typical anime characters were quirky but still nothing caught my interest. However it is worth a try!

Next is Rosario +Vampire... This show was a little entertaining to say the least. A boy who couldn't earn entrance in to a high school managed to get in at a strange school in the middle of nowhere, with a bus driver who clearly stepped out of a scary movie. He arrives at the school and meets this charming, cute, and well-endowed girl who is excited to make him her friend. They walk along talking and she mentions something about being a vampire, and in fact she bites him. He brushes it off as a joke but in class he realizes that the school he entered was one for anything supernatural; not humans. Afraid of being killed he attempted to run away after school and told the girl the truth about what he was. He was then attacked by a fellow student and the girl vampire came to protect him. He ended up staying and that is the end of episode one. That is as far as I got in the anime and not that it is terrible, but it isn't my cup of tea. Personally I'm a little worn out by the vampire campaign going on everywhere so I want as little to do with that as possible. But overall not terrible.

The third is Aquarion. I have only seen one episode and that is partly because my friend didn't want to watch anymore of it. I admit I am a little stuck up when it comes to main characters and this one didn't blow me away like others have. It is an interesting story though, from what I have seen so far. An academy of students compete to pilot one part of a three part machine that is designed to protect the people from these so called Shadow Angels. There is a large background story involving it however I won't go into it because I haven't watched it yet and I may intend to. The main character is a boy who takes care of a group of children by finding them food and shelter. The other main characters from the academy locate him and say he is the chosen one and they must retrieve him. There is a large battle, all of his friends were taken by the shadow angels, he ends up being the chosen one and pilots part of the Aquarion mecca. It can form in different ways depending on who is leading. He brings out the ultimate form that no one had seen. It seems pretty good and I think I may give it more than a one episode shot.

And that is all for now!! Time to get ready to party!! ;)
